Henry Cavill has moved on from the DCEU. The actor is not interested in returning to the role of Geralt of Rivia, even if Warner Bros. wants him to.
The Witcher series is a collection of fantasy novels written by Polish author Andrzej Sapkowski. It follows Geralt, an albino monster hunter who travels around with his adopted daughter Ciri and her friend Yennefer (who happens to be the only woman everywhere).

Henry Cavill has moved on from the DCEU. The actor will not be returning to The Witcher, a role he played in Netflix's adaptation of the book series by Andrzej Sapkowski and Sybille de La Fontaine. In fact, it was only announced last month that he would no longer start as Superman but rather as Krypton's father Jor-El, who raised Clark Kent on Krypton before sending him away to Earth when his planet was destroyed by General Zod.
The decision comes after several reports that suggested Cavill would reprise his role as Geralt of Rivia for four more seasons at least (if not more) based on fan demand alone. Still, according to CD Projekt Red CEO Marcin Iwinski, there is absolutely no chance whatsoever that this will happen!

Henry Cavill is a talented actor, and he deserves to be in every project he signs on to. He’s proven himself as one of the biggest stars in Hollywood. We don’t doubt that Henry Cavill would get another great role if given the opportunity, but we also can’t wait for the next great superhero movie from him!
